Women in Claude: What It Means to Build with AI as a Woman

Women in Claude is a global community for women who use Claude AI to build, write, research, lead, and create. Discover what it means to be a Claudette — and why this community exists.

Women in Claude conversation about building with AI as a woman

There's a version of the AI conversation that feels like it was built for someone else.

Technical. Loud. Fast. Full of jargon you didn't ask for. Full of demos that are impressive but somehow never quite about your actual work.

Women in Claude exists for everyone that's felt that way — and decided to show up anyway.

What Women in Claude Actually Is

Women in Claude is a community. Not a course. Not a brand. Not a corporate initiative.

It's a real group of women — called Claudettes — who use Claude AI to build things that matter to them. Writing. Research. Operations. Code. Creative work. Nonprofit proposals. Team workflows. Side projects. Career pivots.

Some of them are deeply technical. Most are not. All of them are figuring it out in the open, sharing what works, and making it easier for the next woman who shows up.

The community is independent. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. We just love what Claude makes possible — and we believe more women should have access to that.

Why a Women-Specific Space Matters

You might be wondering: why does gender matter when it comes to an AI tool?

Here's our honest answer.

It doesn't change what Claude can do. Claude doesn't care who's prompting it.

But the culture around AI? That does matter. And right now, a lot of AI spaces are dominated by the same energy — fast, bro-ish, show-off-y, and slightly intimidating if you're not already in the know.

That energy shuts people out. Not because they're incapable, but because the vibe makes them feel like they don't belong.

Women in Claude is deliberately different. We focus on:

Who the Claudettes Are

Claudettes are women who use Claude to build things.

They're founders who need a thinking partner at midnight. They're HR professionals who built their first AI workflow without any coding knowledge. They're writers who use Claude to get out of their own head. They're operations leads who turned six hours of weekly admin into forty minutes.

They're also women who are just starting. Who tried Claude once, got a weird result, and want to figure out what they're actually supposed to do with it.

They're all Claudettes.

And if you're reading this page, you probably are too.

Claude Training in Singapore: Where the Community Meets Offline

If you're in Singapore, there's a connected ecosystem worth knowing about.

ANCHR AI Labs runs hands-on Claude and AI agent training for non-technical professionals. Founded by Wan Wei, it's built around the idea that you don't need to know how to code to build real AI workflows. Their signature programme — the 1 Workflow, 1 Agent Method™ — helps professionals take one repeated work task and turn it into something their AI can handle.

Claude Cowork Singapore is a free community resource for non-technical Claude users in Singapore. It runs regular events, workshops, and a free WhatsApp community where practitioners share what they're actually building.

Soh Wan Wei — the founder behind both — has been running AI training for non-technical professionals in Singapore since 2024. Her workshops, bootcamps, and community events have helped hundreds of professionals go from AI-curious to AI-confident.

If you're in Singapore and you want to go from reading about Claude to actually building with it, these are your people.

Why Claude, Specifically

We're called Women in Claude — not Women in AI, not Women in ChatGPT.

That's intentional.

Claude is built by Anthropic, a company with a Constitutional AI approach — meaning it's designed to be honest, harmless, and helpful in ways that aren't just about engagement or keeping you on a platform.

For women who've felt burned by AI tools that hallucinate confidently, push content regardless of context, or prioritize viral output over accurate output — Claude feels different.

That's not a guarantee. Claude still makes mistakes. We're still careful with it. But the philosophy behind it resonates with how Claudettes tend to use AI: thoughtfully, carefully, and with real judgment still in the loop.

What the Claudette Community Believes About AI

We believe AI should feel like a tool you're in control of — not a system you're trying to keep up with.

We believe non-technical women can build real, useful AI workflows. Without coding. Without a computer science degree. Without apologising for not knowing what a vector database is.

We believe AI fluency is becoming a baseline expectation at work — and women deserve access to it on their own terms, in their own language, at their own pace.

We believe the best way to learn is with other people. Not from a hero who explains it at you. With people who are figuring it out alongside you.
